Baking Bread With Maddison

Terms of Service Agreement:

By placing an order with Baking Bread With Maddison, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms of Service.

1. Order Placement & Booking

All custom orders must be placed through our Contact Us form and require a minimum of 14 days’ notice. Orders submitted with less than 14 days’ notice are considered rush orders, are subject to availability, and are accepted at our sole discretion.

Orders are not confirmed until all required payments have been received.

2. Deposits & Retainers

For orders totaling $100 or more, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your order date. No order will be reserved or confirmed until the retainer has been paid.

The retainer is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation by the customer.

3. Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date.

Failure to submit final payment by this deadline may result in cancellation of the order, and any payments previously made, including the non-refundable retainer, will be forfeited.

4. Cancellations & Refunds All retainers and deposits are non-refundable. In addition, all specialty, custom, and made-to-order items are non-refundable due to the time, planning, labor, and materials involved in their preparation. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made by the customer after booking.

5. Order Changes Once an invoice has been issued, no changes may be made to the order. This includes, but is not limited to, item quantities, flavors, colors, designs, themes, pickup times, delivery details, or other custom specifications. Please review your invoice carefully before submitting payment.

6. Rush Orders Orders placed with less than 14 days’ notice are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Rush orders may be subject to limited flavor, size, and design options. Baking Bread With Maddison reserves the right to accept or decline rush orders at its discretion.

7. Pickup & Delivery Customers are responsible for arriving at the agreed-upon pickup time or being available during the scheduled delivery window. Once an order has been picked up or delivered, Baking Bread With Maddison is not responsible for any damage, loss, or changes in product condition.

8. On-Site Setup If your order requires on-site setup, including but not limited to dessert table arrangement, cake display setup, or styling, this must be requested at the time of booking or no later than seven (7) days before the event. Due to scheduling limitations and multiple deliveries on the same day, setup availability cannot be guaranteed without advance notice. Requests made on the day of delivery may not be accommodated. Additional setup fees may apply.

9. Product Care & Responsibility All products are prepared fresh and are intended to be handled and stored properly upon pickup or delivery. Baking Bread With Maddison is not responsible for product quality issues, melting, shifting, breakage, or spoilage caused by improper handling, storage, transportation, weather, or environmental conditions after the order has been released to the customer.

10. Allergy Disclaimer Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. While we take reasonable precautions, Baking Bread With Maddison cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from cross-contact with allergens. Customers are responsible for informing their guests of any potential allergy risks before consumption.

11. Design & Creative License We make every effort to match requested themes, colors, and design inspiration; however, exact replication is not guaranteed. Baking Bread With Maddison reserves the right to make minor design adjustments as needed to preserve product quality, stability, and artistic integrity.

12. Theme Restrictions

Baking Bread With Maddison reserves the right to decline any order, theme, design, message, or request that does not align with our brand values, creative standards, or business policies.

13. Photos & Promotional Use We reserve the right to photograph our products and use those photographs for advertising, social media, portfolio display, website content, and other promotional purposes without compensation to the customer.

14. Force Majeure Baking Bread With Maddison shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations when such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, accidents, severe weather, natural disasters, emergencies, supply shortages, or other unforeseen events. In such situations, we may, at our discretion, offer rescheduling, store credit, or a refund of amounts paid, excluding any non-refundable retainer where applicable.

15. Agreement By submitting any payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service in full.
